PageSpeed monitoring (Lighthouse)

Quick answer

PageSpeed monitoring on StillOnline uses Google PageSpeed Insights (mobile and desktop scores) for URLs you attach to a project. Available on Pro ($9/mo) and Ultimate ($29/mo) only—not Free. Pro: up to 3 PageSpeed URLs per project, auto run every 24 hours, 1 manual run per day. Ultimate: 5 URLs, auto every 12 hours, 3 manual runs per day.

Benefits

  • Performance regressions — catch slow deploys alongside uptime.
  • Same dashboard — no separate PSI bookmark folder.
  • Charts in product — track scores over time on paid plans.
  • Pairs with HTTP checks — availability + speed in one status story.
  • Indie-friendly limits — honest caps vs enterprise RUM suites.

How it works

  1. Upgrade to Pro or Ultimate.
  2. Open a project → PageSpeed tab.
  3. Add URLs (marketing site, app shell, docs—public HTTPS).
  4. StillOnline queues PSI runs on the auto schedule.
  5. Trigger manual runs within your daily quota when debugging.

PageSpeed targets count toward plan limits—they do not replace HTTP uptime checks.

FAQ

Does PageSpeed replace HTTP monitoring?

No. You still need HTTP checks for up/down. PageSpeed adds performance scoring.

Which Lighthouse categories are shown?

StillOnline surfaces PSI scores (performance-focused) in the product UI. See the dashboard for current mobile/desktop presentation.

Can I monitor authenticated app pages?

PSI needs public HTTPS URLs Google can fetch. Login-walled routes need a public proxy page or synthetic public URL.
